Answers:
1) The items should be readily accessible. Please be ready for the pick up by having the items at ground level. All estimates are based on easy access.
2) The average turn around time from pick up to delivery is 2-3 weeks. Expedited shipping can be arranged for an additional cost. Quite often 2-3 weeks can take LESS TIME depending on the parameters of the job. The distance between the pick up and delivery will also affect the timing.
3) The dispatcher should call to set up the delivery time and day once the shipment arrives in your area. In many cases you may want to plan on having friends, relatives, or neighbors on standby to help with the unloading. All deliveries are considered curbside, back of truck, in the garage or on the porch if there is a flat driveway. Discretion is 100% up to the driver. The driver will be alone and may be using a pallet jack. The pallet jack cannot go up stairs or cross door thresholds. Please discuss with us whether or not you need special delivery or what is considered “white-glove” delivery (meaning indoor delivery inside the home or office).
4) We give personal service with an attention to detail. There are other services that cut costs by cutting corners. We do not cut corners! At APS we take every step to make sure your shipment arrives safe and sound.
